(Three more reasons to choose us)
Michael Lobato | President
Since high school, Michael Lobato has been energized by challenging business problems and the pursuit of innovative technology solutions. This passion led him to study computer science at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas before beginning his career in information technology and programming for federal and Local governments.
Since 1995, when Michael was promoted to manage a four-year school nutrition project, he has worked exclusively in the K-12 school nutrition industry. In the late nineties, after being recruited by a leading school food service software company to manage an even larger support team, and having worked as both software provider and school district customer, consulting became a natural path. In 2001, Michael assembled a great technology and support team, and launched Nutri-Link Technologies.
In addition to being a technology addict, Michael is an avid sports fan with a competitive spirit. He loves to run, and participated in many half and full marathons before a serious leg injury in 2010. He still enjoys biking, and rides at least once a week. When Michael is not on the job, he can be found enjoying life on the lake or traveling the world, adding to over 29 passport stamps, including China, Russia, and Turkey… not to mention major cities and small towns in over forty states.
Shannon Dickerson | Vice President
The commitment to innovation and continuous improvement is a tenet of Nutri-Link’s culture, and part of Shannon’s DNA. He was already immersed in technology before heading off to the University of West Georgia to study Computer Systems, recognizing the opportunity to improve business and enhance everyday life through software systems.
Shannon was quickly recruited by a leading school technology provider, and made himself an indispensable team member by diving into all aspects of the business, from tech support, R&D, and testing, to implementation and network administration. The broad expertise he developed over the next several years prepared him to take on an even bigger challenge as a business leader and partner.
After helping to launch Nutri-Link Technologies, Shannon never looked back. He continues to leverage his technical expertise and business interest to improve School Nutrition. He enjoys designing and overseeing product development at Nutri-Link.
Today, Shannon is even more enthusiastic about current technologies in development for school nutrition management, but he saves some enthusiasm for his golf game and for coaching his daughters in softball… using some really cool sports technology of course.
Brent England | Director, Business Development
Even before graduating high school, Brent saw a need to help users better understand and leverage technology to improve business and give them a strategic advantage, this led him to pursue a degree in Management Information Systems from Auburn University.
Beginning his career in technical support with a Fortune 1000 company was a testament to his ambition and abilities, but it didn’t take long before he progressed. With solid experience and clear leadership potential, Brent was promoted into project management, gaining valuable exposure to both sides of the technology partnership; collaborating with developers and engineers on provider-side, and helping to empower end users on the client-side.
Brent was a natural fit for Nutri-Link, and joined the organization in it’s early years to assist with sales and software implementation. Today, his focus is analyzing business processes and procedures, in order to identify opportunities for growth and advise the development team and business partners. His recommendations for enhancements and extensions have helped shape and lead some of Nutri-Link’s key products such as Nutri-Scan, Nutri-Apps, Nutri-Match and Nutri-Status. If that’s not enough, Brent also oversees operations for Nutri-Link, including customer support, installation/training and product management.
Outside of working on solutions for school nutrition, Brent spends his off-time with his wife and two boys. He enjoys college football, golf, shooting sporting clays, and serving at his local church.
